{"id":685,"date":"2021-01-29T12:20:29","date_gmt":"2021-01-29T12:20:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.oxfordowl.co.uk\/?p=685"},"modified":"2021-02-24T11:14:58","modified_gmt":"2021-02-24T11:14:58","slug":"resetting-student-passwords","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/support.oxfordowl.co.uk\/de\/teacher-support\/user-management\/student-logins\/resetting-student-passwords\/","title":{"rendered":"Resetting student passwords"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To reset a student\u2019s password:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen.<\/li><li>Select <strong>Manage students<\/strong> from the drop-down menu.<\/li><li>Select the student(s) whose password you would like to reset.<\/li><li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Edit<\/strong>&nbsp;next to their name.<\/li><li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Change password\/Create Sign In card<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Enter a new password or click&nbsp;<strong>Generate<\/strong>&nbsp;to create a random password.<\/li><li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save changes (and create Sign In card)<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The password has now been reset. Click&nbsp;<strong>Done<\/strong>&nbsp;to close this screen, or&nbsp;<strong>Generate Sign In card<\/strong>.
