How and where do I access online training?
From 1st September, you will be able to access all of your ELS online resources and training from Oxford Owl. Your Oxford Owl login details remain the same.
You can continue to access your training from essentiallettersandsounds.org until 1st September if you have a training subscription from the Knowledge Schools Trust.
How and where do I access Phonics Tracker?
You can access Phonics Tracker by visiting www.phonicstracker.com.
From 1st September, access to Phonics Tracker will be included as part of your combined ELS resources and training subscription. If you have an existing Phonics Tracker subscription, there will be no change to your login details.

Will I still be able to book in-person training?

Will the training remain DfE validated?
Yes, our online and in-person ELS training remains part of the original DfE validated programme.
How will I be invoiced?
You will be invoiced for a new combined subscription from Oxford University Press upon renewal of your ELS Online (Oxford Owl) subscription.
What if I don’t want to renew my training subscription?
Training is an essential part of delivering phonics effectively, for teachers new to the programme and as a refresher to teachers familiar with Essential Letters and Sounds. It is a requirement of a DfE validated synthetic systematic phonics programme (SSP) to provide consistent training, ensuring positive outcomes for children learning to read.

What happens to my training credits?
Any outstanding credits will be fulfilled, no new credits will be issued.

Do I need a new login to access the training?
From 1st September, you will be able to access all of your ELS online resources and training from Oxford Owl. Your login details for Oxford Owl remain the same.

When will training be unavailable on essentiallettersandsounds.org?
You can continue to access training from essentiallettersandsounds.org until 1st September. From 1st September, all ELS online resources and training will be available on Oxford Owl.
Where can I find training for ELS Essential Spelling (Year 2)?
From 1st September, all training and resources for ELS Essential Spelling will be available within your Oxford Owl subscription.
