- Read Write Inc. Spelling
- Floppy’s Phonics.
Creating class logins
Each teacher user can create up to five separate class logins on Oxford Owl.
This means that if there are ten teachers in your school, you could create up to fifty classes.
You do not need to create a class login for each individual student. Each class login allows pupils to log in to the pupil area of Oxford Owl using the same username and password on up to 50 devices or browsers at the same time.
Once you are logged in to Oxford Owl for School, create a class login by clicking your name in the header bar and selecting ‘create class logins’ from the drop-down menu. Complete the Class username and Class password fields and select ‘create class login’ from the drop-down menu. It is advised that your username and password consist of at least four characters. Once complete, you will then receive an email confirming your new class login details.
Please ensure when giving your students access to a class login that you do so securely, for example via email. Do not post class logins on school websites.
Managing your class logins
You cannot delete a class login but you can change the class name and password for your class logins as required.
Once you are logged in to Oxford Owl, click your name in the header bar and select ‘create class login’ from the drop-down menu. Choose a class login from the ‘current class logins’ section, click ‘edit class’, update your class details and click ‘done’.
Parent and student access
Once you supply them with the class login details, students and parents can access the class login you create by visiting www.oxfordowl.co.uk and clicking the ‘login’ button. They will then need to select ‘students’ and enter the class username and password. Once logged in, they will be able to access all content available to them.
